THE 522 EXPERIENCE

Experience the Pacific Northwest in a fresh, fun, and comfortable home with majestic mountain views from the backyard. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet in the heart of town, just a short walk to local restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and the waterfront to catch the weekly Saturday Farmer's Market! Also minutes from the Olympic National Park Visitor Center.

1) Queets River Road Closed
The Queets River Road is closed for culvert repairs at the Hartzell Boat Launch. As of 7/30/24, eight out of fifteen culvert repairs are complete. The boat launch will remain open during the road closure.
2) Current Trail Closures
Elwha River Trail from from the Hayden Pass junction to Low Divide. Skyline Ridge Trail from the Lake Beauty Camp Trail junction to the Elwha River Trail near Low Divide.
3) Campfire ban begins July 26, 2024 in Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest Beginning at 12:00am on Friday, July 26, 2024, all campfires, including charcoal, will be prohibited in Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. This ban applies to anything that produces an ash and includes the coastal areas of Olympic National Park.
4) Expect Heavy Visitation in Hoh Rain Forest Visitation to the Hoh Rain Forest is very popular during the summer months. Visitors should be prepared for 1-2 hour wait times at the entrance station between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM. The parking lot fills early and then traffic is metered.
5) Check the Olympic National Park web site for details of fishing area limitations.

CLEANING
We take cleaning very seriously (because we like it clean too!) and have very experienced cleaners in the vacation rental business. Please know that all used linens, blankets - both fleece and the top quilts, towels, bath rugs, laundry bag, shower curtain liners are washed in between guests. Covid cleaning protocols are in effect.

*Guests have access to the entire 3 bed/2.5 bath home, fenced-in yard with covered and open patios. 
*Access to backyard is through the laundry/2nd bathroom, both bathroom doors have locks. *Electric Vehicle 240V outlet, lock combination available upon request. Bring your own charging cable.
*The garage, garden shed, and hallway closet are locked and used for owner's storage.
*The second floor has the 2nd King sized bed, half bath, and play area. Ceiling height 6’5”.

HOW TO GET AROUND
Many walkable locales. Sidewalks. Take a jog to the waterfront. Take the stroller to the playground park. Drive to the Olympic National Park for a hike or a dip in one of the lakes. Private parking for 4 in the back and ample street parking in the front.
